My professional journey has been defined by a steadfast commitment to advancing the field of pharmacy through innovation, education, and leadership. As a clinical pharmacist and director of pharmacy, I have implemented and managed formulary policy, drug information services, and clinical pharmacy services, focusing on developing new clinical and residency training programs.

Witnessing the transformative power of technology, I have deeply involved myself in bringing technology and data into the service of patients and care teams. My philosophy centers on the belief that pharmacists are pivotal in healthcare innovation. We play a crucial role in assessing and deploying digital tools and artificial intelligence to enhance medication safety, efficiency, and overall healthcare delivery. By embracing technology, we can drive significant improvements in patient care, streamline operations, and bolster the pharmacy workforce.

As Chair of the Digital and Telehealth Providers section, I am dedicated to providing forums, resources, and tools that support the pharmacy workforce in evaluating and benefitting from digital and telehealth services. I understand the dual feelings of concern and excitement surrounding AI and digital tools in healthcare. It is my honor to continue serving as the SDTP chair, collaborating with ASHP members to navigate this transformative era.

Together, we can harness digital healthcare solutions to advance access to care, promote safe medication use, and drive efficiency and safety for the benefit of patients. My philosophy envisions an integrated, technology-driven future that empowers pharmacists to lead healthcare innovation.
