Technology is changing at a rapid pace, and it is vital for the pharmacy profession to establish groups who are solely focused on assessing, understanding, and embracing technological advancements. The section of Digital and Telehealth practitioners is positioned to serve in this capacity to help advocate and inform the profession to ensure successful integration of digital health and telehealth into pharmacy practice, especially as care settings change and emerging models are developed.

Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to advancing pharmacy practice through innovative clinical service models, operational excellence, and leadership development. My contributions span acute care, ambulatory pharmacy services, and strategic program development, all aimed at improving patient outcomes, enhancing healthcare efficiencies, and elevating the role of pharmacists within interdisciplinary teams. These contributions align closely with the mission and vision of the Section by advancing pharmacy practice through collaboration, education, and the implementation of forward-thinking solutions. I plan to leverage my expertise in clinical efficiency and professional development to contribute to the Section's growth. I will advocate for the integration of advanced technologies such as AI and machine learning to enhance pharmacy practice while considering the safety of technology for patient care and contribute to policy advocacy to address regulatory and reimbursement challenges, ensuring sustainable growth of telehealth services. By focusing on these goals, the Section can lead the way in transforming pharmacy practice through digital innovation and telehealth integration.
