This past year, we expanded ASHP’s We’re Your Pharmacist public awareness campaign, saw remarkable growth in The Pharmacy Technician Society^®, launched the ASHP Center for Next-Generation Therapeutics, and continued to strengthen our advocacy on the 340B Drug Pricing Program, drug shortages, and other critical issues. These priority initiatives illustrate ASHP’s ongoing commitment to all of our members, including pharmacists, student pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians.

For those of you who are new members of ASHP, welcome! You now belong to the nation’s largest community of pharmacy professionals. You’ve joined a network of colleagues dedicated to providing optimal patient care and shaping the future of pharmacy practice.

Throughout my career, I have benefited immensely from belonging to ASHP and working with this wonderful network of extraordinary practitioners. And while each member charts a unique path, I can say without question that ASHP membership will create countless opportunities to help you along your own professional journey.

As I near my retirement as ASHP’s CEO, we are celebrating our membership’s growth and looking forward to new opportunities to advance pharmacy practice. I am deeply grateful for your membership and everything you do to make ASHP thrive.
