W. Justin Moore
2025 Distinguished Service Award Winner
W. Justin Moore is a practice coordinator for the Antimicrobial and Diagnostic Stewardship Program and an infectious diseases clinical pharmacist at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago, Illinois.
Moore is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where he earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree after receiving a bachelor of arts from the University of Virginia. He also received a Master of Science in clinical investigation from Northwestern University. He completed a PGY-1 & PGY-2 ID pharmacy residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. His current role focuses on system laboratory standardization, diagnostic stewardship, clinical practice in immunocompromised hosts, and clinical outcomes research.
Moore is a current member of the ASHP Council on Pharmacy Practice as well as the Section of Clinical Specialists and Scientists Clinical Leadership Advisory Group. He previously served as the Chair of the New Practitioners Forum Executive Committee. Outside of ASHP, Justin is an engaged member of the Illinois Council of Health-System Pharmacists, the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, and the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists.
