ASHP wants as many Student Pharmacists as possible to be aware of the benefits of attending the Midyear Clinical Meeting and Exhibition and is encouraging current and past student pharmacist registrants to share information with their colleagues. ASHP will provide each advocate/referrer with a unique referral code to post and share, and, for each of the first three confirmed student pharmacist registrants to the 2024 Midyear Clinical Meeting utilizing that unique referral code, the referring advocate will receive an electronic $20.00 Starbucks voucher as will the successful student pharmacist registrant who enters the provided code during the online registration process. Referrals and successful registrants will be reviewed on an ongoing regular basis, and upon successful review and confirmation, vouchers will be issued as noted above with a maximum of three vouchers per referring advocate. Advocates should suspend any and all references to the referral incentive once the third voucher has been issued.
All personal information collected and processed as part of this Referral Program will be used in accordance with ASHP’s Privacy Policy, available at https://www.ashp.org/privacy-policy. Under the applicable laws and regulations, ASHP shall be responsible for collecting and processing such personal information.
These Referral Terms are published by ASHP and form a binding agreement between you, as the referring user (“Referrer” or “You”).
You may only invite personal friends, family members, acquaintances and colleagues who live in the United States to this Referral Program.
If you make any post on any social network (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, or LinkedIn) as a part of this program, you must at a minimum include either “This is a paid endorsement” or “#paidad” in any social network posts you make as a part of this program. You are responsible for ensuring that your posts on any social network comply with the terms of use of the site, and any other applicable laws, statutes, and regulations.
In order to receive the Starbucks voucher, all referred student pharmacist registrants must be new Midyear Clinical Meeting registrants. The offer is not available retroactively.
You represent all personal information is correct and up to date. We may verify your information before issuing rewards.
This Program cannot be combined with other ASHP referral programs, discounts, vouchers, benefits, or incentives.
You understand and agree that you must not use referral methods that are bothersome to the recipients. Moreover, your participation in the Referral Program must not violate any applicable law, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation and anti-Spam legislation, which is mass distribution of unsolicited messages.
You must not publish our Referral Program on any sites or platforms that house any Adult Content, Alcohol, Tobacco, Gambling, Games and Online Casinos, Political Content, and any form of illegal activities.
You must only use our Referral Program for personal use and refrain from its use for commercial purposes.
This Referral Program will only be available until December 1, 2024. ASHP may also in its sole discretion notify Users that the Referral Program has ended with immediate effect and only those referrals made before the end date will be eligible for the Starbucks voucher. However ASHP may exclude referrals in its sole discretion made after its termination date. ASHP may terminate this Referral Program at any time, including your participation or the availability of its benefits.
You understand and agree that you are only acting as a referrer of ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting, and refrain from implying any other affiliation or legal relationship with ASHP as it relates to this program. As such you are never authorized to legally bind ASHP.
Amendments
ASHP may amend the terms and conditions of this Referral Program at any time, including changes to the incentives and benefits associated with the program. As a result, additional terms may apply. Your continued participation in the program will signify your awareness and agreement with those amended and additional terms.
Violations and Termination
If ASHP suspects any violations of these terms, fraud, or unreasonable use of the Referral Program, it may in its sole discretion cancel the distribution of any discount, benefit or payout contemplated hereunder.
Current ASHP employees are prohibited from participation in the Referral Program and are not eligible to receive Starbucks vouchers.
You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and refrain from violating any third party rights. These rights include any copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights.
Disclaimer and Indemnification
YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE PROGRAM IS MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU ON AN “AS IS” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. ASHP DOES NOT MAKE ANY WARRANTY REGARDING THE PROGRAM, AND EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT SHALL ASHP BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES OR DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, USE, OR DATA AS A RESULT OF CLAIMS, WHETHER BROUGHT IN CONTRACT OR TORT, ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THESE PROGRAM TERMS OR THE PROGRAM, EVEN IF IT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES..
You will defend, indemnify and hold ASHP harmless from and against all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, expenses and costs (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of your participation in the Referral Program.
No Correspondence, Disputes And Refunds
With regards to the distribution of incentives, no correspondence will be entered into. Moreover, we shall never respond to any complaint or accept any dispute about the Referral Program.
Applicable Law
By participating in the program, you agree that you have read, understand and will abide, and be bound, by these Referral Terms. These Referral Terms shall be governed in all respects in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland without regard to the conflict or choice of law rules thereof.
