BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, YOU AGREE TO THESE ASHP NAVIGATOR OFFICIAL RULES (THE “OFFICIAL RULES”), WHICH ARE A CONTRACT, SO READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING. WITHOUT LIMITATION, THIS CONTRACT INCLUDES INDEMNITIES TO THE SWEEPSTAKES ENTITY FROM YOU AND A LIMITATION OF YOUR RIGHTS AND REMEDIES. The Sweepstakes shall be subject to these Official Rules, and by entering, all participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein and the decisions of the Sponsor, including the interpretation of these Official Rules and its exercise and discretion, which will be final and binding in all respects.
ELIGIBILITY
The ASHP Navigator Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to all legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia (excluding Puerto Rico and all other U.S. and foreign territories and possessions, and wherever else prohibited or restricted by law) who are at least eighteen (18) years old (or the age of majority in their respective state or jurisdiction) or older at the time of entry. All employees of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Inc. (“ASHP” or “Sponsor”) and its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, directors, officers, fulfillment and advertising and promotion agencies (“Sweepstakes Entities”) and their immediate family members (spouse, mother, father, in-laws, grandmother, grandfather, brother, sister, children and grandchildren) and/or those persons who reside in the same household as any employee or immediate family member of ASHP or Sweepstakes Entities are not eligible to enter or win. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Participation constitutes the entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

SWEEPSTAKES/ENTRY PERIOD
The Sweepstakes begins on November 1, 2024 at 12:00 am Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on January 31, 2025 at 11:59pm ET (the “Sweepstakes Period”).
The Sweepstakes Period includes three (3) monthly entry periods (each an “Entry Period”), each associated with a random drawing. There will be two (2) monthly prize winners (each a “Monthly Prize Winner”) selected for each monthly drawing. For the sake of clarity, the first Entry Period will begin November 1, 2024, 12:00 am ET and end at 11:59 pm ET on November 30, 2024; the second Entry Period will then run from 12:00 am on December 1, 2024 until 11:59 ET on December 31, 2024, and the third and final Entry Period will begin on January 1, 2025 at 12:00 am ET and end at 11:59pm ET on January 31, 2025.
HOW TO ENTER/ENTRY LIMITS
There are two (2) ways to enter the Sweepstakes: (1) by logging in to Navigator; or (2) by submitting a mail-in entry.
- During the Sweepstakes Period, go to navigator.ashp.org and sign in with your ASHP login credentials.
- Alternatively, you may enter by hand printing your name, age, complete address (including zip code), daytime phone number and e-mail address on a 3"x5" card and mail it, postage prepaid, to: American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Attn: Melissa Robison, Product Manager, Member Engagement, ASHP Navigator Sweepstakes, 4500 East West Highway, Suite 900, Bethesda, Maryland 20814. Mail-in entries must be received by November 30, 2024, December 31, 2024 and January 31, 2025 for each respective Entry Period to be eligible for that Entry Period’s drawing. Mail-in entries will NOT be accepted via messenger/courier delivery service or any means other than United States Postal Service mail. Sponsor is not responsible for lost or misdirected mail in entries.
LIMIT ONE (1) ENTRY PER PERSON DURING EACH ENTRY PERIOD AND THREE (3) ENTIRES PER PERSON DURING THE SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD REGARDLESS OF METHOD OF ENTRY. Any attempt by any entrants to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that entrant’s submission and that entrant may be disqualified. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected registrations, which will be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to any registration, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. All entries become the sole and exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be returned
WINNER SELECTION: Two (2) winners of a $100 Amazon gift card will be chosen each Entry Period during the Sweepstakes Period. All entries must be received by 11:59pm ET on final day of each applicable Entry Period to be eligible for a prize during such Entry Period.
PRIZES, PRIZE DRAWING, AND ODDS OF WINNING
PRIZE: Six (6) prizes are available. The prizes consist of: six (6) $100.00 Amazon gift cards. The total approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the six gift cards is $600.00. Each winner is responsible for all taxes and fees associated with such winner’s prize receipt and/or use. Sponsor will report any individual winnings over $600.00 (in cash or fair market value of goods or services) in a calendar-year period to the Internal Revenue Service. The winner will receive a Form 1099 from Sponsor if Sponsor reports any winnings to the Internal Revenue Service. The prize may not be exchanged for cash or any other consideration. The prize is non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value. Any difference between advertised and actual value will not be awarded. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received prior to the applicable Entry Period.
PRIZE DRAWING/WINNER SELECTION: All individuals who either submit complete mail-in entries or who log-in to Navigator during the applicable Entry Period are registered to win the drawing for that Entry Period. The complete list of valid mail-in entries and completed, valid log-ins will be randomly assembled on the Thursday following the end of each Entry Period and two (2) entrants will be randomly selected to win the prizes. The entrants will be contacted using the email address, phone number and/or mailing address provided with the entry and may be awarded the prize (subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the terms of these rules). Sponsor’s decisions as to the administration and operation of the Sweepstakes and the selection of potential winners are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. The winners will be notified by email and/or phone after the date of the random drawing. Non-winning entries from one Entry Period do not carry over into subsequent Entry Periods.
VERIFICATION OF POTENTIAL WINNERS: Potential winners must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. As a condition of being awarded any prize, winners may (in Sponsor’s sole discretion) be required to execute and deliver to Sponsor a signed affidavit of eligibility and acceptance of these Official Rules and release of liability, and any other legal, regulatory, or tax-related documents required by Sponsor in order to claim a prize. By submitting tax-related documents you hereby consent to: (i) Sponsor holding and processing any information about you, that you may provide to Sponsor or that Sponsor may acquire as a result of submitting such tax-related documents; (ii) the transfer to Sponsor of all information or any part thereof in the tax-related documents to complete the prize request; and (iii) the transfer by Sponsor to the Internal Revenue Service of any information or any part of thereof, as necessary for reporting obligations, related to any winnings from Sponsor of at least $600 in a calendar-year period. If a potential winner of any prize cannot be contacted, fails to sign and return any affidavit or document required by Sponsor within the required time period (if applicable), or if the prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the potential winner forfeits the prize. In the event that a potential winner of a prize is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor may award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: As a condition of entering the Sweepstakes, each winner gives consent for Sponsor to obtain and deliver his/her name, address and other information to third parties for the purpose of administering this Sweepstakes and complying with applicable laws, regulations and rules. Any information entrants provide to Sponsor may be used to communicate with entrant in relation to this Sweepstakes. By entering the Sweepstakes, each entrant (i) consents to the use of his/her name, city and state of residence, statements, voice, and likeness by ASHP and its designees for advertising and promotional purposes online and offline in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity without additional compensation, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law; and (2) agrees that any personal information provided to ASHP in connection with entering the Sweepstakes shall be used only in a manner consistent with the consent given by entrants at the time of entry, with these Official Rules, and with ASHP’s Privacy Policy & Policy on Cookies, which can be found at https://www.ashp.org/Privacy-Policy.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND DISPUTES
Entrants agree to indemnify, release and hold harmless ASHP, the Sweepstakes Entities and its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, and their directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, fulfillment and advertising and promotion agencies, and all their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives from any liability, losses or damages of any kind, including without limitation, death and bodily injury, resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the awarding, delivery, acceptance, use, misuse, possession of the prize resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activity and to release all rights to bring any claim, action or proceeding against Sweepstakes Entities. Sweepstakes Entities will have no liability whatsoever for failure to supply a prize or any part thereof, by reason of any acts of God, any severe weather, hurricane, flood, fire, war, transportation interruption of any kind, or any other cause beyond their control. U.S. laws govern this Sweepstakes. Entrant hereby acknowledges that ASHP and Sweepstakes Entities have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to a prize, including express warranties provided exclusively by a prize provider that may be sent along with a prize.
BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, ENTRANT AGREES THAT TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW: (1) ANY AND ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES, OR ANY PRIZE AWARDED, WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION; (2) ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND AWARDS WILL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL THIRD-PARTY, OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED (IF ANY) NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00), BUT IN NO EVENT WILL ATTORNEYS’ FEES BE AWARDED OR RECOVERABLE; (3) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY ENTRANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN ANY AWARD FOR, AND ENTRANT HEREBY KNOWINGLY AND EXPRESSLY WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO SEEK, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS AND/OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, OTHER THAN ACTUAL OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00), AND/OR ANY RIGHTS TO HAVE DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR OTHERWISE INCREASED; AND (4) ENTRANTS’ REMEDIES ARE LIMITED TO A CLAIM FOR MONEY DAMAGES (IF ANY) AND ENTRANT IRREVOCABLY WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR EQUITABLE RELIEF. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Maryland, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Maryland or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Maryland.

MISCELLANEOUS: The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision of the Official Rules is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions will remain in effect and will be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules will not constitute a waiver of that provision. When terms such as "may" are used in these Official Rules, Sponsor has sole and absolute discretion. Entrants agree to waive any rights to claim ambiguity of these Official Rules. Headings are solely for convenience of reference and will not be deemed to affect in any manner the meaning or intent of the documents or any provision hereof. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes-related materials, privacy policy or other terms and conditions on the ASHP website and/or the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control and the discrepancy will be resolved in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion.
