BY PARTICPATING IN THE ASHP SSHP ENGAGMENT CHALLENGE, YOU, ON BEAHLF OF YOUR SSHP, AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES (THE “OFFICIAL RULES”), WHICH ARE A CONTRACT, SO READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING. WITHOUT LIMITATION, THIS CONTRACT INCLUDES INDEMNITIES TO THE SPONSOR ENTITY FROM YOU AND THE SSHP AND A LIMITATION OF YOUR AND THE SSHP’S RIGHTS AND REMEDIES. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. THIS IS A PARTICIPATION AND RECOGNITION PROGRAM. IT IS NOT A CONTEST, COMPETITION, LOTTERY, OR SWEEPSTAKES. ALL ELIGIBLE SSHPS THAT COMPLETE THE APPLICABLE REQUIREMENTS DURING THE PROGRAM PERIOD WILL RECEIVE THE DESIGNATED REWARD, SUBJECT TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The ASHP SSHP Engagement Challenge ("Program") is a voluntary participation and recognition program administered by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists ("ASHP"). The Program is designed to encourage Student Societies of Health-System Pharmacists ("SSHPs") to promote ASHP student membership, increase student engagement, and support professional development activities on their campuses. This Program is intended to be an achievement-based incentive program. It is not a contest, competition, lottery, sweepstakes, or game of chance; no random drawings will be conducted, and no judging criteria will be applied. All eligible SSHPs that complete the applicable, objective Program requirements during the Program Period and comply with these Official Rules will receive the designated recognition and rewards associated with the completed challenge(s), while supplies last.
ELIGIBILITY
The Program is open to SSHPs affiliated with accredited colleges or schools of pharmacy in the United States. Participation is at the SSHP organization level only. Individual students are not participants and are not eligible to independently earn Program rewards. An SSHP may designate student leaders and/or faculty advisors to coordinate participation, submit required documentation, and receive Program communications on behalf of the organization.

PROGRAM PERIOD
The Program begins on August 6, 2026, and ends on November 1, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time ("ET") ("Program Period”).
HOW TO ENTER
An eligible SSHP will earn the applicable reward by completing the requirements for the applicable Challenge and submitting all required documentation during the Program Period.
Challenge 1: Activate. To successfully complete Challenge 1, an SSHP must complete all three (3) required activities listed below during the Program Period.
- Step 1: Amplify Your ASHP Story Through Social Media. Create or share content using the SSHP's social media platforms highlighting the value of ASHP student membership and tag ASHP. If an SSHP does not maintain social media accounts, personal social media accounts of SSHP leaders or members may be used on behalf of the organization.
- Step 2: Complete Fall 2026 Membership Drive and Submit Membership Roster. Conduct the SSHP’s Fall 2026 membership drive,; Complete the required 2026-2027 membership roster template; and Submit the completed roster through the designated Challenge Submission Form
- Step 3 :Recruit P1 Students and Submit P1 ASHP Member Roster. Recruit P1 students to become ASHP student members; Complete the required P1 roster template; and Submit the completed P1 roster through the designated ASHP roster submission process
Challenge 2: Spread the Word. An SSHP will complete Challenge 2 by achieving at least a 10% increase in ASHP student membership compared to the prior year's membership level, as determined by ASHP records and/or submitted roster information. ASHP will determine in its sole, reasonable discretion whether the 10% growth threshold has been achieved.
REWARDS
Subject to verification and compliance with these Official Rewards:
- Every eligible SSHP that successfully completes Challenge 1 in its entirety (all three required steps) will receive (i) One (1) Digital Recognition Badge for the SSHP; (ii) Recognition of the SSHP's achievement through ASHP communication channels, including social media, at ASHP's discretion; and (iii) One (1) ASHP Swag Bundle with an approximate retail value of $45.00. SSHPs understand and agree that Challenge 1 is an all-or-nothing challenge, and no partial rewards will be provided for completing fewer than all three Challenge 1 requirements.
- Every eligible SSHP that successfully completes Challenge 2 will receive One (1) $100 electronic gift card intended to support a group meal, celebration, or similar activity for the benefit of the participating SSHP.
REWARD FULFILLMENT
- Swag Bundle contents may vary based on inventory availability and specific items are subject to substitution in ASHP’s sole discretion. Swag Bundles will be shipped to the SSHP mailing address on file with ASHP unless otherwise approved by ASHP.
- Electronic gift cards will be distributed to a designated SSHP leader or faculty advisor identified by the SSHP who represents that they accept the gift card on behalf of the SSHP organization. Available merchants, restaurants, food service providers, and redemption options will be determined by ASHP based on availability through its gift card fulfillment provider and may vary by school location and geographic area. The gift card is provided with the express intent that it be used for the benefit of the participating SSHP membership and not solely for the personal benefit of an individual recipient.
- Rewards are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash (except where required by law), and may not be substituted except at ASHP's discretion. Any federal, state, or local tax obligations associated with a reward are the sole responsibility of the recipient organization or individuals receiving the reward.
RECOGNITION
ASHP may publicize participating and qualifying SSHPs through social media, websites, newsletters, presentations, recognition materials, or other communications. By participating in the Program an SSHP authorizes ASHP to identify the SSHP by name and publicize its achievement of Program requirements without any additional compensation.
PROGRAM MODIFICATIONS
ASHP reserves the right to modify, suspend, interpret, or terminate the Program, or amend these Official Rules, at any time if necessary for administration of the Program or to address unforeseen circumstances.
FINAL DECISIONS
All determinations regarding eligibility, completion of Program requirements, documentation sufficiency, reward qualification, and interpretation of these Official Rules shall be made by ASHP and are final.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND DISPUTES.
By participating in the Program, SSHPs agree to release and hold harmless ASHP and its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or expenses arising out of or related to participation in the Program or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any incentive, reward, or benefit provided through the Program, except to the extent caused by ASHP's gross negligence or willful misconduct. ASHP is not responsible for delays, interruptions, or failure to provide any incentive, reward, or benefit due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, public emergencies, or transportation or technology failures. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any dispute arising out of or relating to the Program will be resolved on an individual basis and not as part of any class, collective, or representative action. SSHPs' remedies are limited to actual out-of-pocket damages, if any, and SSHPs waive any right to recover indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, as well as attorneys' fees, except where prohibited by law. These Official Rules and any disputes relating to the Incentive Program will be governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of law principles
