SPEAKERS

Jean-Philippe AdamJean-Philippe Adam, B.Pharm., M.Sc., BCPS, BCOP is associate chief at the Centre Hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal (CHUM), as well as a clinical pharmacist and researcher with expertise in oncology, innovation, and pharmaceutical care. He serves on the board of the Quebec Order of Pharmacists and has authored over 45 publications while delivering at more than 100 conferences. Deeply engaged in clinical leadership and education, he is committed to improving patient care and advancing sustainable pharmacy practice.

Melodie Richard LaferriereMélodie Richard-Laferrière, Pharm.D., M.Sc. is a renal and lung transplant pharmacist at the CHUM. She also contributes to antimicrobial stewardship and the care of diabetic patients, as well as occasionally working in community pharmacy, to stay connected to frontline practice. Passionate about teaching, she supervises pharmacy residents, gives continuing education, and is involved in the instruction of clinical practice at Université de Montréal. She also engages in research, aiming to enhance the visibility of the pharmacy profession.

Felix Trudel-BourgaultFélix Trudel-Bourgault, Pharm.D., M.Sc. is a clinical pharmacist at the CHUM, specializing in dialysis and pulmonology, where he provides care to both hospitalized and ambulatory patients. Actively involved in education, he regularly supervises residents and students and participates in the instruction of a clinical practice course at the Université de Montréal. Engaged in various projects, he has a particular interest in knowledge transfer, optimizing the impact of hospital pharmacists, and sustainable healthcare practices.

Dan CobaughDaniel J. Cobaugh, Pharm.D., FAACT, DABAT  is the senior vice president of professional development and publishing at ASHP and the editor-in-chief of AJHP.  He has served on the ASHP staff since 2002. He received his B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh and his Doctor of Pharmacy from Duquesne University.  Cobaugh completed an ASHP-accredited residency in hospital pharmacy at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh and a clinical toxicology fellowship at the Pittsburgh Poison Center.  He practiced as pharmacist-clinical toxicologist and held faculty appointments at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and the University of Rochester Medical Center.
