ABOUT THIS PODCAST

This episode will cover the background of cellular-based gene therapies from basic cell biology to genetic targets currently used in treatment. Experts will review the mechanisms for modifying cellular genetic material and the common viral vector platforms used in ex-vivo cellular therapy production. An overview of the steps and processes for cellular therapy preparation, manufacturing, handling and administration will be provided. Additionally, this presentation will discuss novel cellular therapy agents currently approved for use and the highly anticipated cellular therapies currently under investigation.
