ABOUT THIS PODCAST

This podcast evaluates the roles of intravenously (IV)administered vancomycin and IV or orally (PO) administered linezolid for the empiric management of suspected or confirmed infections caused by methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). We discuss and compare the positive and negative attributes of each drug and how those impact their places in the therapeutic management of MRSA infections.
