When your patient list seems insurmountable, how do you prioritize your patient care activities for the day? Join us to hear from pharmacy leaders in the informatics field who have experience with developing and implementing a scoring system within the electronic health record to triage patient care, identify intervention opportunities, and prioritize clinical pharmacy services.

SPEAKERS

Tim Holman Tim Holman, PharmD, MSHI (he/him) is the director of pharmacy at SSM Health - St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, MO. He received his PharmD from St. Louis College of Pharmacy in St. Louis and completed residency training in Managed Care and Pharmacy Informatics. He worked in various Pharmacy Informatics Roles before transitioning to operational Pharmacy Leadership in 2022.

Calvin IceCalvin Ice, PharmD, BCPS, BCCCP, (he/him/his) is a graduate of Ohio Northern University and completed PGY1 then PGY2 residency training in critical care at Mayo Clinic. He is currently a pharmacy manager for training and education at Corewell Health and serves as the PGY1 residency program director at Corewell Health Grand Rapids Hospitals. Dr. Ice is a member of the ASHP Section of Clinical Specialist and Scientists’ Clinical Leadership Advisory Group. 

Ariel Thurmer Ariel Thurmer, PharmD, BCPS (she/her) a system clinical manager of Pharmacy Services for SSM Health, focuses on developing and leading projects advancing pharmacy practice to top of license by embedding services utilizing the EHR to support clinical productivity metrics. The team has been highly recognized within the organization and presented at the 2023 Vizient Connection Summit and Vizient Pharmacy Networking meeting. As a Vizient Pharmacy Network Practice Advancement member, she shares insight and experience for pharmacy initiative.

Kyle Mays Kyle Mays, PharmD, BCPS, BCPPS, (he/him) earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 2011. Afterwards, he completed a postgraduate year-1 pharmacy residency at OSF Healthcare Saint Francis Medical Center in 2011 and a PGY2 pediatric pharmacy residency at the Children's Hospital of Illinois at OSF Healthcare Saint Francis Medical Center in 2012. He is currently a Clinical Pharmacy Manager at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.
