SPEAKERS
Benjamin J. Anderson PharmD, MPH is currently a Medication Management Informaticist at the Mayo Clinic, in Rochester, Minnesota. He works on the Plummer Chart with a focus on clinical decision support and serves as the Residency Program Director for the PGY-2 Informatics program. Ben received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Minnesota and his Masters in Public Health degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed a PGY1 residency in pharmacy and a PGY2 health system pharmacy administration residency from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. In Minnesota, Ben is active with MSHP and enjoys serving on meeting planning committees. Nationally Ben has served on the Section of Pharmacy Information and Technology Advisory Group: Clinical Information Systems for 9 years. He is currently serving as Director-at-Large for the Section.
Sarah E. Wheeler is a medical writing assistant for Banner Medical. In this role, she creates continuing education content for pharmacists and other healthcare professionals. Sarah earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The Ohio State University in 2018 and completed her PGY-1 residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General. After completing a PGY-2 residency specializing in ambulatory care at Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2020, Sarah now practices as an ambulatory care clinical pharmacy specialist in Virginia.
Jenna Harris completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at Keystone College, her Master’s degree in Clinical Chemistry at The University of Scranton, and her Doctorate of Pharmacy at Thomas Jefferson University. She completed her PGY-1 and PGY-2 (ambulatory care) residency at Upstate University Hospital. She is currently a clinical, ambulatory care pharmacist at a rheumatology clinic at Upstate University.
Kelsey Haller earned both her Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences degree and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She then completed her PGY-1 residency at Mount Carmel West Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Kelsey currently practices as a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist at Mount Carmel Health in the areas of adult internal medicine, adult medical intensive care, and neonatal intensive care. She is actively involved in the PGY-1 residency program at Mount Carmel Grove City Hospital as a preceptor and as a residency research coordinator for the Mount Carmel health system.
