SPEAKERS
Jay Holloway, PharmD, AAHIVP, is a community pharmacist, educator and advocate on LGBTQ+ issues in pharmacy with a specialty in transgender and gender-diverse patients. He has guest lectured at pharmacy schools on gender-affirming pharmacy practice and has written a CE for American Academy of HIV Medicine’s HIV Specialist Magazine. Holloway is a member of RxSHARE, a global pharmacy coalition for sex and gender health advocacy, reform, and equity.
Dr. Leyner Martinez, PharmD, MS, MHA, FACHE, is the director of pharmacy services at Baptist Hospital of Miami. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Family, Child, and Consumer Sciences from Florida State University and a PharmD from LECOM School of Pharmacy. He completed a PGY1 residency with drug information emphasis at the Poison Control Center/Jackson Memorial Hospital and a combined PGY1/PGY2 residency in health-systems pharmacy administration at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Martinez has certifications in medication therapy management and pharmacy-based immunization delivery and is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). He is also a preceptor to residents and students for health-system pharmacy administration and advance hospital/institutional practice rotations.
