Interdisciplinary rounding teams are a common occurrence within health-systems. In this podcast, listeners will hear from a medical resident and a medical student about their experiences on working on an interdisciplinary team and discuss their appreciation for the pharmacy team.

 Dr. David Benavides was born  and raised in Miami Beach, Florida. He moved to Michigan to study at Michigan  State University’s College of Human Medicine, graduating in 2019. He chose to  pursue his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Michigan, as he is  passionate about expanding his training in providing holistic comprehensive  care. He has special interest in Latino health, Sports Medicine and Sleep  Medicine.

 Originally from Maryland,  Duyhoang Dinh is a fourth-year medical student (MS4) who attends the University  of Michigan Medical School and is currently applying into obstetrics and  gynecology. His interests include high-risk pregnancies, infertility, and  medical education. More generally, he is passionate about optimizing empathy in  the contexts of both patient care and facilitation of conducive, healthcare  working environments. In his free time, he enjoys playing volleyball,  traveling, and spending time with loved ones.
