Through this 1 hour continuing education program, participants will be introduced to the layered learning model. Operationalization of layered learning in an in person environment, with examples provided from each presenter’s practice perspective, will be reviewed before describing challenges of continuing this model in the virtual environment. Through case vignettes, the speakers will offer strategies and real-world examples of how to overcome overcome barriers of layered learning in both in person and virtual settings.

Continuing pharmacy education (CPE) for this activity will be processed on ASHP's eLearning portal and reported directly to CPE Monitor.
