The Section of Pharmacy Educators is uniquely poised to bridge the profession from where we are to where we want to be by evaluating processes, structures, approaches, and outcomes to impact pharmacy workforce learners of all levels of experience. The section’s alignment within ASHP presents the opportunity to carefully consider what our patients, our workforce, and the healthcare system need from us and strategically approach what that demands through our preparation of learners. Our strength and ability to drive change is within our collective ideas, knowledge, skills, and voice. I see big opportunities on the horizon, from connection, development and advocacy to environmental scanning, initiatives and summits, and I am excited for the future. I’ve had the extraordinary privilege of learning with and from inspirational mentors and serving patients in a time of great need. I’ve been shaped by both and found great passion in education as a result. To be nominated for section chair is truly an honor, and I greatly appreciate your consideration as we move forward together.
