I am deeply passionate about digital health and telehealth because of their transformative potential to improve patient care, enhance accessibility, and bridge gaps in healthcare delivery. Throughout my career, I have witnessed firsthand the profound impact that technology can have on empowering both patients and healthcare providers. Digital health tools and telehealth services have the power to remove barriers such as geographical limitations, providing people in underserved or remote areas with access to critical healthcare services that they might otherwise lack.
As someone with a strong background in pharmacy, I recognize the importance of integrating digital solutions into the medication management process. The ability to deliver personalized care, track medication adherence, and provide virtual consultations is a game-changer in ensuring better health outcomes. By combining my expertise in pharmacy with a passion for innovation, I see digital health as a means to modernize the delivery of care our pharmacy professionals provide and increase patient engagement.
What sets me apart as a leader in this space is my ability to unite technology and healthcare professionals towards a common goal. I value collaboration, clear communication, and thoughtful problem-solving. I am committed to driving digital transformation within the pharmacy field, focusing on both patient satisfaction and meeting the needs of not only our pharmacists, but our students, technicians and healthcare team. I am excited by the opportunity to serve as your Director-at-Large in shaping the future of digital and telehealth pharmacy, ensuring that it evolves in ways that are both effective and patient-centered.
