Reason for the Shortage

- Padagis has temporarily discontinued Actidose Aqua and Actidose with Sorbitol. The company is working with FDA to reformulate to a 25 gram /240 mL product for both the Actidose Aqua and Actidose with Sorbitol products.
- PAI (VistaPharm) did not provide a reason for the shortage.

Estimated Resupply Dates

- Padagis has temporarily discontinued Actidose Aqua and Actidose with Sorbitol and the company cannot estimate when product will return to market.
- VistaPharm (a PAI Pharma Company) has short-dated Insta-Char 25 gram/240 mL bottles (unflavored) available with an expiration date of March 2027. More product is estimated to release in August 2026. The Insta-Char in Sorbitol 25 gram/240 mL bottles (cherry flavor) are on back order and the company estimates a release date of August 2026.
