Reasons for selecting this career path:

I received my Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University in 2015. Post-graduation, I completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency program at Abington-Jefferson Health and then completed a PGY2 residency specializing in Critical Care at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. I am passionate about providing optimal direct patient care for critically ill patients with an emphasis on monitoring pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic parameters, optimizing complex medication regimens, and providing antibiotic stewardship. 

Professional Interests: 

• Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO)
• Septic shock, 
• Multi-organ failure
• Post-operative intensive care

Interest in the NPF Executive Committee: 

As a member and Chair of the New Practitioners Forum Resident Advancement Advisory Group (RAAG), I am most interested in the opportunities for continued advancement of the pharmacy profession led by and in support of new practitioner pharmacists.

The ASHP New Practitioners Forum offers an ability to build connections, to network, and to give back to the Pharmacy community. 

Fun Fact:
I am a NYC-based dancer and contract with professional dance companies within the tristate area. Apart from dancing, I enjoy spending time with family/friends and exploring new restaurants (still searching for NYC's best pizza spot!)
