Member Since: I first joined ASHP when I started pharmacy school in 2023.

Current Involvement: My current involvement with ASHP is being a member of the ASHP Pharmacy Student Forum Student Society Development Advisory Group, and within that advisory group I’m a member of the Membership Engagement Workgroup.

Favorite Part of ASHP Student Membership: My favorite part of ASHP student membership is having access to exclusive resources that have benefited me in my professional career. For example, I have participated in their CV Review Program and have received effective feedback that has helped me develop in my professional career. ASHP is my go to website for resources when I am looking to elevate my career.

Favorite ASHP Memory: My favorite memory of ASHP was being able to present my research poster at the 2025 Midyear Clinical Meeting. I loved that I was able to present on a topic that I was passionate about while also receiving feedback on how to effectively communicate my research. It was a meaningful experience that has helped improve my public speaking and presentation skills.

Advice for Other Student Pharmacists: My advice for pharmacy students seeking to become involved in national organizations is to not be afraid to put yourself out there. It may seem intimidating getting involved at a national level, but I have been surrounded by supportive peers who are just as passionate as me in ASHP. I know that because I am surrounded by these type of people, I no longer have fears in contributing to the organization as it has been such a welcoming experience.
