Stephanie Weightman
2026 Distinguished Service Award Winner
Stephanie Weightman serves as an integrated specialty clinical pharmacist at Regional One Health in Memphis, Tennessee. In this capacity, she collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate complex patient care and optimize medication access within the oncology and hematology clinics and the outpatient infusion center. This role follows a diverse career path that includes over a decade as a pediatric emergency medicine clinical pharmacist, work as a clinical pharmacist educator for NAPLEX exam preparation, clinical and operations leadership roles with a pediatric telehealth startup company, and drug information services within a point of care product and drug database.
Since 2006, ASHP has been Weightman's professional home, providing the foundation and support to navigate career transitions and pursue opportunities she once considered out of reach. Her service to ASHP has been anchored in the Section of Clinical Specialists and Scientists (SCSS). From 2013 – 2018, she served on the Educational Steering Committee and chaired both the Meeting Planning and Year-Round Education subcommittees from 2016 – 2018. In 2017, Weightman was appointed chair of the SCSS Pediatric Special Work Group, whose efforts ultimately established the SCSS Pediatrics Section Advisory Group. Becoming the group’s inaugural chair remains the proudest achievement of her career. From 2020 to 2023, Weightman served as the SCSS director-at-large, acting as the liaison for the Clinical Leadership, Emergency Medicine, and Emerging Sciences SAGs. Weightman’s continued commitment to ASHP is reflected in her renewed service on the Educational Steering Committee, continued involvement on the SCSS Committee on Nominations, and 2026 appointment to the ASHP Council on Therapeutics.
Throughout her career, Weightman has remained deeply committed to advancing education and fostering mentorship. A frequent contributor to the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting, she has presented and moderated clinical sessions, served as a content peer reviewer, and facilitated roundtable discussions. Her contributions also include participating in ASHP podcasts, reviewing content for BCEMP and BCPPS recertification materials, and coauthoring a pediatric emergency medicine chapter for an ASHP pharmacotherapy textbook. Weightman maintains active involvement in several organizations, including ACCP, HOPA, NCODA, Tennessee Pharmacists Association, Blood Cancer United, and the Board of Pharmacy Specialties Emergency Medicine Council.
