When did you first join ASHP?

I joined ASHP during my Junior year before I started the graduate program.

What is your current involvement with the ASHP Pharmacy Student Forum (i.e. advisory group or executive committee appointment)?

I am the Vice Chair of the Pharmacy Student Forum Student Society Development Advisory Group.

What is your favorite part of your ASHP student membership? What has been most beneficial about being a student member of ASHP?

I really enjoy being able to network not only with other pharmacy students but also with pharmacists nationwide in realms of pharmacy in which I am interested. I've made connections thatI never would have otherwise through the ways that ASHP connects me to the world of pharmacy.

What is your favorite memory from an ASHP event, project, or program?

I really enjoyed being able to see our programming come together as a work group last year during some of the liaison webinars. Being able to see my team work together to publish something that we knew many people would be able to watch and benefit from was awesome.

What advice do you have for pharmacy students seeking to become involved in national organizations?

Don't be afraid to apply! A lot of times national positions and organizations can be scary, but they're all learning opportunities for you and you'd be surprised how much you grow as a leader through national involvement.
