Her Story
Dr. Buchheit graduated from the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy in 2015. She completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency in 2016 at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Her current involvement in ASHP includes being newly appointed to the Section Advisory Group on Medication Therapy Management in the Community.
Facility
Dr. Buchheit is currently establishing retail and clinical pharmacy services in a patient centered medical home in a rural community in Northeast Missouri. She is working closely with the providers at the clinic to establish collaborative practice agreements to meet the needs of the community, start a transitional care management clinic, and enhance prescription access to community residents.
Recent Significant Projects
Aside from getting a new pharmacy and clinical services up and running, Dr. Buchheit was recently published in Critical Pathways in Cardiology for her work on adding idarucizumab to the formulary of a large academic medical center in Boston, MA.
