Current Involvement in ASHP

I'm honored to be a member of the Section of Pharmacy Practice Leaders  Advisory Group on Value, Quality and Compliance. I also volunteer as a poster mentor, CV reviewer, and mentor in the Guided Mentorship Program.

Why did you become involved in ASHP?

My initial involvement with ASHP started with an interest in pursuing a residency program. During my residency, preceptors emphasized the importance of organizational involvement and I was inspired to become involved in our local affiliate chapter, NYCSHP. Over the years, my ASHP involvement has grown out of a desire to connect with pharmacists across the nation with similar roles, in order to collaborate on best practices and produce valuable member resources.

Advice for Someone New to Specialty Area
