Project Description:

To celebrate 2023 Black History Month, UT-SSHP collaborated with UT-SNPhA to reach out to pharmacists of color in various health-system settings and highlight their great DEAI contributions. They kindly shared their expertise, knowledge, and advice to future pharmacists on how students can embed DEAI into their practice. We reached a total of 5000 views from all the pharmacists and PhD faculty who helped us participate in the Instagram DEAI highlights.

We utilized our social media accounts such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok to advertise the PAI-related event.

Did you include any outside guest to complete this event?

Yes, we included guests from various health-systems pharmacy settings to ensure their diverse DEAI contributions were recognized on our Instagram pages.

Did you collaborate with any other organizations or your ASHP State Affiliate?

Yes, we collaborated with UT-SNPhA, ASHP President, and TSHP practitioners.
