ASHP and HOSA Partnership

Exciting news!  The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) is partnering with HOSA–Future Health Professionals to help middle and high school students discover careers in pharmacy!

This collab gives students a closer look at what pharmacists and pharmacy technicians really do — and spoiler alert: it’s way more than just filling prescriptions. Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are key members of the healthcare team who work directly with patients to make sure medications are safe, effective, and easy to access.

Students thinking about careers in healthcare should know that pharmacy is a clinical, innovative, and patient-focused field. This partnership builds on ASHP’s nationwide campaign, We’re Your Pharmacist, which helps people understand how hospital pharmacists play a big role in patient care every day.
