Your SSHP can help student pharmacists discover opportunities in clinical pharmacy, expand their professional network, and access resources that support their growth through ASHP. This year, ASHP invites SSHPs to participate in the ASHP SSHP Engagement Challenge, a recognition program designed to promote student membership, engagement, and professional development. Complete the program activities and submit the required documentation through the Challenge Submission Form to earn recognition and rewards for your Student Society. Submissions must be received by November 1 at 11:59 p.m. EST to be considered for challenge rewards and recognition.
CHALLENGE 1: ACTIVATE
1. Amplify Your ASHP Story through Social Media
Create or share content using your SSHP’s social media platforms that highlight the value of ASHP student membership, and tag ASHP. If your SSHP does not have a social media platform, you may use your personal platforms. Get ideas for your posts.

Download and complete the required 2026-2027 membership roster
template.
Note: this roster, used for the SSHP Recognition Program, reflects SSHP, state affiliate, and ASHP memberships. The roster should have all members listed including P1s.

CHALLENGE 2: SPREAD THE WORD
Increase your ASHP student membership by at least 10% compared to the prior academic year, as determined by ASHP membership records and/or submitted roster information.
- Remember: P1 students are eligible for complimentary ASHP student membership, making it easier to grow membership
- Email students@ashp.org if you would like access to your submitted roster from last year to determine membership numbers
By entering the challenge, you, on behalf of your SSHP agree to the ASHP Engagement Challenge Official Rules, which are located on the ASHP website at: ashp.org/StudentChallengeRules. No purchase necessary. This is a participation and recognition program. It is not a contest, competition, lottery, or sweepstakes. All eligible SSHPs that complete the applicable requirements during the program period will receive the designated reward, subject to the official rules.
AWARDS
- Eligible SSHPs that successfully complete Challenge 2 will receive a $100 ELECTRONIC GIFT CARD intended to support a group meal, celebration, or similar activity benefiting the participating SSHP.
