Building Central Pharmacy Services: Lessons from Strategy to Implementation

Qualifies for Live CPEL Recertification Credit

As health systems continue to face workforce shortages, drug supply challenges, rising costs, and increasing pressure to improve quality and operational efficiency, centralized pharmacy service centers have emerged as a strategic approach for optimizing resources across multihospital pharmacy enterprises. While published literature has described the clinical, operational, and financial value of centralized pharmacy services, many pharmacy leaders remain uncertain about the benefits of centralization, how to prioritize services, and how to successfully operationalize these models. This symposium will provide health-system pharmacy leaders with an overview of the benefits of centralized pharmacy services, as well as a practical framework for assessing organizational readiness, identifying services that are well suited for centralization, and evaluating case studies that highlight successful implementation strategies.

Tuesday, Dec. 8
11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. ET

Symposium Location: W110 A, Level 1, Orange County Convention Center, West Building
