Dr. Brody Maack graduated from the North Dakota State University School of Pharmacy in 2006, and completed a PGY1 residency in 2007. He is a board certified ambulatory care pharmacist and certified tobacco treatment specialist. Dr. Maack is an associate professor of practice and Vice Chair in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at NDSU, where he teaches pathophysiology and therapeutics of cardiovascular medicine, and is the President of the North Dakota Society of Health-System Pharmacists. His clinical practice is at Family HealthCare clinic in Fargo, an FQHC community health center, where he sees patients for comprehensive medication therapy management, including disease state management and tobacco cessation, and has collaborative prescribing authority. He has done research in the field of clinical service innovation and implementation and tobacco cessation.
Mike Schwab is the Executive Vice President of the North Dakota Pharmacists Association and North Dakota Pharmacy Service Corporation. Registered lobbyist for 18 years. Mike is nvolved in numerous pharmacy related boards and advisory groups. He is married, with 3 kids, and has lived in ND for his entire life. Mike truly enjoys legislative education and advocacy efforts on behalf of the profession of pharmacy and patients it serves.
Dr. Mark Hardy, Pharm D., is the Executive Director of the ND Board of Pharmacy. Mark is a native of Neche, ND and a 2007 graduate of the North Dakota State University College of Pharmacy where he earned his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree. Dr Hardy ensures the public safety by supervising licensing of pharmacists, pharmacies, pharmacy technicians, prescription drug wholesalers and manufacturers; establishing policies and regulations for the practice of pharmacy and works with the seven-member Board of Pharmacy appointed by the governor. He also is responsible for the operation of the state of North Dakota’s Prescription Drug Monitoring Program, which facilitates controlled substance information to help identify and inhibit diversion in an efficient and cost effective manner.
Anna Dopp, Pharm.D.,serves as the Senior Director of Clinical Guidelines and Quality Improvement at ASHP. Prior to this role, Dr. Dopp served as the Vice President of Public Affairs for the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin while practicing as a clinical pharmacist at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. She also served as a Pharmacy Benefit Consultant with WEA Trust in Madison, WI and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy. Dr. Dopp received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University Of Minnesota College Of Pharmacy and served as a Congressional Health Policy Fellow with the United States Senate.
