SPEAKERS
 Emily Sartain is currently a  PGY2 Solid Organ Transplant Pharmacy Resident at the University of Colorado  Hospital. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Texas  in Austin and then completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency at the University of  Colorado Hospital. Her interests include medication education, infectious  disease, transitions of care, and academia.

She completed  her PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at the University of California San Francisco  Medical Center followed by a PGY-2 Solid Organ Transplant Residency at  Massachusetts General Hospital. Kayla now practices as a Solid Organ Transplant  Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington,  MA. She also serves as the co-chair for the American Society of Transplantation  Transplant Pharmacy Community of Practice Organ Donation Workgroup.

Barrett received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of  Wisconsin School of Pharmacy. He completed an American Society of Health-System  Pharmacists (ASHP)-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency and completed an  ASHP-accredited PGY2 Solid Organ Transplant Pharmacy Residency with University  Health System in San Antonio, TX, in collaboration with The University of Texas  at Austin College of Pharmacy.
Dr. Barrett Crowther is currently a  solid organ transplant (SOT) clinical pharmacist specialist and PGY2 solid  organ transplant pharmacy residency program director at University of Colorado  Health. Barrett received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of  Wisconsin School of Pharmacy. He completed an American Society of Health-System  Pharmacists (ASHP)-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency and completed an  ASHP-accredited PGY2 Solid Organ Transplant Pharmacy Residency with University  Health System in San Antonio, TX, in collaboration with The University of Texas  at Austin College of Pharmacy. 
He previously served as the Pediatric Solid Organ Transplant Clinical Pharmacist Specialist and PGY2 SOT Pharmacy Residency Director at University Hospital in San Antonio. Barrett been actively involved in the American Society of Transplantation (AST) Transplant Pharmacy Community of Practice (TxPharm COP) for the past ten years. He is the current co-chair of the TxPharm COP Executive Committee. He previously served as the first appointed trainee member of the AST TxPharm COP Executive Committee, where he helped further establish the AST TxPharm COP Organ Donation Challenge. He then served as a member-at-large on the TxPharm COP and chair of the AST TxPharm COP Organ Donation Workgroup. During this time, the Organ Donation Workgroup created an Organ Donation project manual, assigned transplant pharmacist Organ Donation liaisons for each school of pharmacy in the US, and achieved official partnerships with the Student National Pharmaceutical Association and the Walgreens Company.
Barrett has served as the chair of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) Immunology/Transplant (IMTR) Practice and Research Network (PRN) and served as the ACCP representative panel member for the ASHP Solid Organ Transplant PGY2 Residency Goals and Objectives Revision Group. Barrett is currently serving as Chair on the Board of Pharmacy Specialties Council on SOT Pharmacy.
