Obesity is a chronic disease affecting millions of people in the United States with projections indicating continued obesity rates and related comorbidities. Pharmacists are increasingly in the position to advise patients and provide safe and effective management of medications for healthy weight loss. It is imperative that pharmacists collaborate with patients and their providers to optimize weight management health outcomes.
