Sara has served as the Director of Pharmacy, Stanford  Hospital and Clinics and Associate Director of Pharmacy University of Kansas Medical  Center. Sara completed a BS in Pharmacy from Oregon State University, MS from  Ohio State University and an ASHP accredited Residency at the Ohio State  University Hospitals and Clinics. She has served as ASHP president and received  the Harvey A.K. Whitney Lecture Award.

She is a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and a Certified  Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician (CSPT). She received her BSc in Biology  in 2006 from Idaho State University, Pocatello, ID. She completed the ASHP  Pharmacy Leadership Academy (PLA) in 2019 and recently completed the  requirements to earn her MBA in Healthcare Informatics from New England  College, Henniker, NH.

The Enterprise encompasses a 3,000 bed health‐system with over 1,700 FTEs in 19 hospitals and  clinics in Ohio, Florida, Nevada, Canada, England and AbuDhabi. Sam is faculty  with ASHP’s Pharmacy Leadership Academy and with ASHP’s Australia leadership  boot camp. He is the immediate past chair of ASHP’s Section of Pharmacy  Practice Leaders (SPPL).
