This podcast discusses the value of integrating a pharmacist into a multidisciplinary team. Over the evolution of the profession of pharmacy, different departments and disciplines have identified the need and benefit of the addition of a pharmacist. As opportunities continue to flourish and expand, pharmacists have discovered traditional and non-traditional leadership roles amongst other health care professions all throughout different health-systems.
SPEAKERS
 Alex Raymond is a graduate of the University of Mississippi, School of Pharmacy. He is originally from  Metairie, Louisiana and completed a Health-System Pharmacy Administration residency at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with a Masters of Pharmaceutical Sciences focusing in Health-System Pharmacy Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Alex is a  Director of Compliance at Ochsner Health and leads the organization's  system-wide Drug Diversion Prevention and Response Program.

 Amanda Chambers attended the  University of Cincinnati James L Winkle College of Pharmacy in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is currently a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Amanda is a member of the New Practitioner’s Forum sitting on the Leadership Development Advisory Group. Her current professional  interests include inpatient pharmacy operations and pharmacy leadership.
