Dalton FabianDalton Fabian, PharmD, is a pharmacist who has merged his passion for healthcare, pharmacy, and technology into a career as a Data Scientist, working in integrated health systems and payers. He is currently employed at Wellmark BCBS. Dalton uses his healthcare and pharmacy expertise to develop robust performance-tracking tools that hold vendors accountable for their guarantees, assist pharmacy staff in modeling formulary changes, and help clinicians provide targeted patient care. Dalton enjoys helping other pharmacists and students explore roles in data science and advance their technical skills. He is active in state and national pharmacy organizations, providing his expertise on data and AI topics for presentations and committee work.

Benjamin MichaelsBenjamin Michaels, PharmD, MIDS, 340B-ACE, practices as a Data Science Pharmacist at UCSF Medical Center. Dr. Michaels received his PharmD degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy and completed a PGY1 Community Pharmacy Practice Residency at Fred Meyer/Oregon State University. He completed a master’s degree in information and data science from the University of California Berkeley. He has experience with pharmacy and health data, EMR build, 340B, artificial intelligence, machine learning operations, and full stack development. In his current role, he works to leverage data, machine learning, and AI into generating actionable insights for the department of pharmacy.

Hesham MouradHesham Mourad, PharmD, EMBA, BCPS, BCCCP, FASHP, is Senior Pharmacy Manager for Acute and Ambulatory Care Systems at Mayo Clinic and an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. He earned his Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Damascus University and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Purdue University. Dr. Mourad completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center in Kentucky, followed by a Critical Care Traineeship through the ASHP Research and Education Foundation. He then completed a PGY-2 Pharmacy Informatics Residency with Indiana University Health. He is board certified in Pharmacotherapy and Critical Care. Dr. Mourad is currently completing a master's degree in Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare. His professional interests focus on leveraging health informatics and advanced technologies to optimize the medication-use process, improve patient safety, and advance innovation in pharmacy practice.
