Sara M. Panella, PharmD, BCPS, CPh
Sara M. Panella is the Manager of Pharmacy Ambulatory Care, Population Health and Transitions of Care (TOC) for Baptist Health South Florida Clinical Pharmacy Enterprise. Dr. Panella obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy (EMSOP), Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. After graduation, she completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital followed by a PGY-2 Specialty Pharmacy Residency in Drug Information at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital/EMSOP. She started her career in TOC at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD and has since developed TOC programs there as well as at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, FL. Dr. Panella has also held academic positions at EMSOP as a Clinical Assistant Professor and at Nova Southeastern University as an Assistant Professor and was previously a Residency Program Director for a PGY-2 in Transitions of Care. Dr. Panella is currently working with the National Transitions of Care Coalition (NTOCC) as the chair for the Pharmacy Committee and is a sitting member on their Board of Directors. Dr. Panella has been actively involved with Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacist (FSHP), starting up and chairing an Ad Hoc Clinical Forum on Ambulatory Care from 2019 – 2021. She was the co-creator of the inaugural FSHP Ambulatory Care Fall Symposium in 2022. She has represented the state of Florida as a ASHP House of Delegate member over the last 2 years. Currently, she is one of the Board of Directors for FSHP.

Brody Maack, PharmD, BCACP, CTTS
Brody J. Maack is an Associate Professor of Practice and current Vice Chair of Pharmacy Practice at the North Dakota State University (NDSU) School of Pharmacy, where he earned his PharmD in 2006. He then completed a PGY1 residency at Lake Region HealthCare Corporation in Fergus Falls, MN in 2007. He is also a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Family HealthCare clinic in Fargo, a federally qualified health center, where he sees patients and precepts APPE students in an office-based setting for comprehensive medication management, including disease state management with use of collaborative prescribing authority. He has had the opportunity to spearhead several initiatives in the clinic, recently including remote patient blood pressure monitoring, community paramedic collaboration, and implementation of various chronic disease programs such as tobacco cessation, hypertension, diabetes and depression. Maack also serves as a CAP Center Scientist in the NDSU Center for Collaboration and Advancement in Pharmacy. Maack currently serves as a member of the ASHP Section Advisory Group (SAG) on Compensation and Practice Sustainability. Previously, he served as Chair and Vice Chair of the SAG on Medication Management Services. He has served as state delegate in the ASHP House of Delegates and is Past President of the North Dakota Society of Health-System Pharmacists. He has also served on the Section of Ambulatory Care Practitioners Committee on Nominations, has co-authored several ASHP-endorsed documents, including a book chapter, forthcoming ASHP Statement update and Ambulatory Care Resource Center document, and was faculty on the ASHP Telehealth Certificate program.

Ashley M. Parrott, PharmD, MBA, BCACP, BCPS
Ashley Marie Parrott, is the ambulatory clinical pharmacy manager at Parkview Health in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Parrott graduated from the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences before completing a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at the ProMedica Flower Hospital Family Medicine Residency. Parrott went on to complete her Masters of Business Administration at the University of Toledo College of Business and Innovation. She is board certified in ambulatory care and pharmacotherapy. Parrott’s leadership in ASHP includes service as chair of the Section of Ambulatory Care Practitioners (SACP) Advisory Group (SAG) on Compensation and Practice Sustainability. During almost seven years of service to the SAG, she has contributed to multiple SACP resource documents and an ASHP webinar. Parrott also contributed to a SACP podcast in 2020 discussing the transition to telepharmacy services early in the COVID-19 pandemic. She has presented regionally for the Ohio Society of Health-System Pharmacists and nationally at the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting on ambulatory pharmacy services, including topics on service development and reimbursement. Parrott is a routine reviewer for the ASHP CV Review Program. Parrott serves as residency program director for an ASHP accredited PGY-2 ambulatory care residency program. Parrott was recognized with the Glen Sperandio Health System Pharmacist of the Year award for the state of Indiana in 2020 for her outstanding service in pharmacy practice, professional organizations, and to the community.

Jordan L. Wulz, PharmD, MPH, BC-ADM
Jordan L. Wulz is an Assistant Professor specializing in pain management, public health and ambulatory care with Concordia University Wisconsin’s School of Pharmacy (CUWSOP). Jordan earned his PharmD degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida. He then pursued an MPH degree with Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, where he also completed a two-year ASHP-accredited residency program in ambulatory care in collaboration with the Jefferson County Department of Public Health. Jordan has also completed a 1-year Pain Management and Palliative Care Traineeship through the ASHP Foundation for which he received an ASHP Foundation Excellence in Pharmacy scholarship to support this effort. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Jordan is a Clinical Pharmacist at Ascension Wisconsin’s Center for Pain Management. As part of this role, Jordan serves on the statewide Ascension Wisconsin Opioid Stewardship Council. Jordan has been an active member of the ASHP Pain Management and Palliative Care Section Advisory Group (SAG) for the Section of Ambulatory Care Practitioners (SACP) over the last five years, previously serving as Vice Chair and currently serving as Chair of the SAG. Jordan has also completed a two year term on the Ambulatory Care Advisory Board for the ASHP state-affiliated Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin.

Daniel B. Truelove, PharmD, AAHIVP, BCACP, BCPS
Daniel B. Truelove is the Director of Pharmacy for University Health Network at the University of Tennessee Medical Center where he is responsible for leading ambulatory care pharmacy program development with a focus value-based care. He serves as a PGY2 Ambulatory Care pharmacy residency preceptor (former Program Director) and Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Translational Science at the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy. Truelove earned his PharmD from Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy in Birmingham, AL and completed a pharmacy practice residency at the University of Louisville Hospital. As a practitioner, Truelove has implemented new clinical pharmacy services at multiple health systems, including specialty clinics and chronic disease management. Truelove’s leadership in ASHP includes serving as Immediate Past Chair of the Section of Ambulatory Care Practitioners Executive Committee, and Chair of the Section of Ambulatory Care Practitioners Section Advisory Group on Clinical Practice Advancement. He previously served on the Section of Specialty Pharmacy Practitioners Section Advisory Group on Business Development, and the Section Advisory Group on Compensation and Practice Sustainability. Truelove has developed and contributed to multiple committees, networking sessions, resource documents, and ASHP Connect posts. He is a frequent presenter at ASHP meetings and other national meetings on ambulatory, specialty, and population health pharmacy topics. Truelove has led many statewide initiatives, including improved access to antiviral therapy for patients infected with HCV, pharmacist reimbursement as providers, and value-based care pharmacy curriculum.

Jeff Olson, PharmD, MBA, BCACP
Jeff Olson is the pharmacy population health director at Intermountain Health. With over 20 years of ambulatory care experience, Olson has practiced and led ambulatory care pharmacy services at Intermountain, helping expand services with a focus toward value-based care. In his current role, he leads population health strategy, growth, and operations for pharmacy services across the multi-state, integrated health system. He established the PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency Program, serves as an active preceptor for PGY1 and PGY2 residents, and maintains an adjunct faculty appointment at the University of Utah College of Pharmacy. Olson earned his PharmD and MBA degrees from the University of Utah and completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency at PeaceHealth Southwest in Vancouver, WA. He is board certified in ambulatory care. Olson’s leadership in ASHP includes serving as Vice Chair and Chair of the Section of Ambulatory Care Practitioners (SACP) Advisory Group on Compensation and Practice Sustainability. He is a frequent speaker at ASHP meetings and webinars. He served as faculty for the ASHP Telehealth Certificate and has participated in several ASHP podcasts. Olson is an author of several ASHP Ambulatory Care Resource Center documents, ASHP Connect blog posts, and ASHP and AJHP publications. He was the recipient of the USHP Linda S. Tyler Innovative Practice of the Year Award in 2023 for leading efforts to establish a virtual hormonal contraception service in Utah. In 2021, he received the ASHP SACP Distinguished Service Award.

Hannah Vanderpool, PharmD, MA
Vice President, Member Relations
Section of Ambulatory Care Practitioners
Hannah Vanderpool is the vice president of Member Relations at ASHP and the executive director of The Pharmacy Technician Society (TPTS). Hannah received her PharmD from Drake University and completed a pharmacy practice residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Hannah holds a MA from The George Washington University in organizational management. Hannah has worked at ASHP since 1997 and actively engages with ASHP and TPTS members about strategic initiatives in advancing pharmacy practice.
